I’ve been a fan of NEEDTOBREATHE pretty much since the first album back in 2006. I remember the band came into the CCM offices and sang several songs “unplugged” for us and even shared a little about their faith and mission. Since then, the guys haven’t always been overtly “CCM” with their lyrics, but they have blazed a trail of taking good, clean, encouraging, authentic, faith-based lyrics to the mainstream.

Today, the group released “Survival” featuring Drew & Ellie Holcomb, the third track from its forthcoming album, Out of Body. This is one of the bands more overtly “CCM” songs and I love it. It’s just a really good pop/rock song…AND is talks about relying on Jesus.

NEEDTOBREATHE’s new single, “Survival” is the Best Thing I Heard Today!
