Colby Wedgeworth Named ASCAP Christian Songwriter of the Year

The Christian music industry’s top songwriters, stars and executives gathered to celebrate the 40th annual ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) Christian Music Awards on Monday, October 15 at the Franklin Theatre in downtown Franklin, Tennessee. Awards were presented for the most performed Christian music songs over the last year, with the top honor going to Colby Wedgeworth for ASCAP Christian Music Songwriter of the Year.

Tauren Wells Wins 4 Dove Awards

Tauren Wells dominated the 49th annual Gospel Music Association’s Dove Awards winning four of his eight nominations. Wells picked up four awards for Contemporary Christian Artist of the Year, New Artist of the Year, Rap/Hip Hop Recorded Song of the Year and Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year.
