Casting Crowns – ‘A Live Worship Experience’ album review 3 Overall Score Label:BEC Recordings For Fans Of:Mercy Me, Third Day We Like:“A Good Good Father” Casting Crowns – ‘A Live Worship Experience’ album review Matt Conner December 16, 2015 From the outset, Casting Crowns have been firmly rooted in the life of the faith community. It makes sense, then, for them to return to Eagle’s Landing First Baptist Church, the band’s home church, for their fifth live album, A Live Worship Experience. “At Calvary” kicks off the album as a recent entrant from Casting Crowns’ Glorious Day release. “A Good Good Father,” “Here’s My Heart” and “No Not One” are just a few of the popular worship songs found thereafter. “The Well” and “Thrive” are among the notable originals found, and front man Mark Hall reflects on the biblical background of the track “Jesus, Friend of Sinners.” Taken together, it’s a well-packaged set that will animate the faith of the listener.
