The latest release from Planetshakers, the Dove-nominated Aussie youth worship movement, is a pulsing, joyful set steeped in dance-hall style and substance. Therein lies the draw and drawbacks for This Is Our Time. “Joy” and the title track feel a bit too much like Saturday morning kid’s television but songs like “Covered” and the overall EDM influence ensure Planetshakers will maintain the momentum they’ve enjoyed in recent years.
