Composers Lorne Balfe (The Bible) and Hans Zimmer (who wrote the score of practically every other movie you’ve ever seen) created the music for the most recent biopic on Jesus, culled from the epic miniseries The Bible, which brought in millions of viewers worldwide. The music is big and somber, majestic and mournful. Bits of spoken dialogue might be distracting for some, but not half as distracting as Ceelo Green doing “Mary Did You Know” as one of two contemporary bonus tracks.
