Forerunner Music (a ministry of the International House of Prayer) features 12 songs and the same number of artists (from their more than 150 albums) on this first volume of a projected ‘themed’ anthology series. Concentrating on “the second coming of Jesus, the millennial kingdom and eternity,” these songs offer a good mix of anthemic rock styles, passion and scripture-laced lyrics, but might be too wordy and emotionally-staged for your regular Sunday morning rotation.
