We Are Messengers returns with brand new offering, “Give Thanks to God.” The triumphant anthem features award-winning singer/songwriter Matt Maher and offers more new music tight on the heels of the band’s fourth studio effort, Where The Joy Is. The memorable original starts out as a moody, contemplative ballad before crescendoing into a moment of explosive gratitude, hallmarked by a chorus that quotes the familiar Scripture passage found in John 3:16. Meanwhile, the subtle Celtic influence heard across the track is a nod to frontman Darren Mulligan’s Irish homeland.
