League of Lights are a British electronic rock/synth pop duo, Richard West and Farrah West. “Kings and Queens” is the first single from their new album In the in Between.

“‘Kings and Queens’ is a song about the idea that life is just a test for what is to come afterwards. It starts with piano and vocals and builds to a crescendo, it’s not a standard shape for a song in terms of verse/chorus/bridge but we chose it because it really reflects the slightly quirky feel of our album.” —League of Lights
