Throw Back Thursday – Feb 28, 2019: David and the Giants Ross Cluver February 28, 2019 Christian music legends, David and the Giants will be releasing their latest album, What Are You Waiting For, March 5, 2019! This is their first new studio recording as a fully re-united group since 1996. In conjunction with the new release, the first single is the title track and is being released on March 5th to radio, online, and to other various outlets. David and the Giants have been touring, singing, performing concerts, and traveling the world spreading the good news of the Gospel for over forty years. David had felt that putting the band together again for a new studio recording was a great idea when the Lord was giving him new songs to write. David and the Giants [featuring brothers David, Clayborn and Rayborn Huff and Keith Thibodeaux] toured heavily in the 1960’s and early 1970’s as a secular Rock ‘n’ Roll band, sharing the stage with acts such as: Styx, Chuck Berry, Cheech and Chong, Black Oak Arkansas, Rod Stewart. Drummer, Keith Thibodeaux [better known for his role as “Little Ricky” on “I Love Lucy”] left the band because of his decision to serve the Lord, but later re-joined them when David and the Giants became a Christian band in 1979.
