The Third Day 30th Anniversary Tour kicks off today, and around here we’re celebrating the only way that makes sense… by declaring it Third Day “Day.”

That’s right. It’s a holiday now.

For 30 years, Third Day has been the soundtrack to road trips, youth camps, worship nights, and probably at least one slightly questionable church van speaker system. And now, somehow, unbelievably, gloriously… they’re back on stage together. And yes, it feels as good as you want it to.

Let’s Revisit the Moment We Knew This Was Real

The day it all went public, I sat down with Mac Powell and you could just tell, something was different. There was excitement, sure, but also that “we might be onto something again” kind of energy.

It’s the kind of conversation where halfway through you realize… yeah, this is happening.

When the reunion was first announced, we didn’t just cover it, we went all in. Cover story, full shoot, performances, the whole thing.

And Then… They Played Together

No big buildup needed here.

They walked in. Picked up instruments. And suddenly it was like no time had passed at all.

“God of Wonders” hit first, and if you didn’t get chills, check your pulse.

Then came “Soul on Fire,” which, let’s be honest, lives up to its name.

First time playing together in over a decade… and it sounded like they just took a long weekend off.
