I have to admit, I was a bit disappointed by the handful of good, new singles that were on the New Music Friday Christian playlist last week. I really only thought there were about 5-6 songs out of 50 that stood out. One of the best of the batch was a song from Jervis Campbell. Jervis is a relatively new Christian music artist from Charlotte, NC that now lives in Nashville. He has a unique blend of rock, R&B, Folk, and Gospel influences that makes for a really nice vibe. If you’re not familiar, you should definitely go check him out. Think Zach Williams or Rhett Walker….kind of.
