This month CCM reader, Mariah Chance from Orangevale, Calif., has three questions for her favorite group of rocker chicks — BarlowGirl.

Mariah: What would your career be if you were not music artists?
Rebecca: I had hoped to pursue cosmetology and auto mechanics.
Lauren: I was pretty young when this whole music thing started, but I really wanted to move to California and work with marine animals, and I wanted to work on my tan.
Alyssa: I always thought I was going to pursue my life-long dream of Broadway. I still wonder how we could work a tap dance scene into our live show.

Mariah: How long have you girls been singing together as a band?
BarlowGirl: We officially started playing shows in ’99.

Mariah: When you’re not touring or writing music, what do you like to do?
BarlowGirl: We love being at home where we are surrounded by family and get to do normal things in life like babysitting the nieces and nephew, grocery shopping and recovering from the sleep we lost on the road.
