FOR FANS OF: The 77s, Sixpence None The Richer
Rating: 4 Stars

Shimmering guitars, reverb-drenched vocals and the signature wall of fuzzbox sound make this album a delight for long-time fans of The Choir. If introspective songs bathed in dream-like musical textures are what you want, look no further. The poetic lyrics might be challenging or sometimes ambiguous — and there’s no Christianese to be heard — but God is there between the lines in this artful project by the classic Christian band.
