“Happy New Year. I just released a new instrumental worship album ‘Live in Joshua Tree California.’ I spent a few days in the desert recording live on my vintage Fender Rhodes piano and looping guitar while mixing and recording everything live. I am really happy with how it turned out—there is a real sense of spiritual worship in the tracks. My approach in my music has always been to create a form of worship without words. Instrumental approaches to allow the listener to use the music as a background for prayer and worship. I spent a lot of time praying and meditating on the Lord before going into this album and really trying to reflect that through my playing.” —Jordan Wayne Lee
