Reflection: Many of us have the understanding that God is omnipresent:  He is everywhere, all the time.  But do we truly grasp the concept that wherever we go, He has actually been there before us? 

In areas of the world where there is still shepherding, the shepherds always explore the terrain before taking their sheep into it.  They inspect the vegetation and water supply, and check for any threats such as wolves.  They will never take their sheep where they have not gone first! 

What a joy and relief that the God we serve does the same thing!  Wherever we are, we can know that He’s been there before… We can boldly praise Him under open skies!
