Hey, the Oscars were last night. That was weird, right?

Gets me to thinking… which Christian artist consistently does well in the way of cinematographic music videos? Here are just a few you really oughta know:

“Lazarus” by Bellarive

This creepy and AWESOME music video by the gone-too-soon group was shot in super slow-mo and then sped up, making for a horror film-like quality. Very Halloweenish.

“Alice” by Matthew Parker

I love everything Matthew Parker does. Yep.

“Pioneers” by for KING & COUNTRY

“God Only Knows” is another great video by these guys, and like “Pioneers,” features Joel and Luke and their wives. This one, which takes place in Iceland, features beautiful landscapes that are just as dramatic as the declaration of marital love.

“BZRK” by Family Force 5

They smash EVERYTHING up. I’m a fan.

“Heartbeat” by Mat Kearney

This was all done in ONE SHOT. It’s impressive. Great dance moves, too.

I had a great interview with Eric Welch, one of the best Christian music video directors here:
