TO THE READERS…Thank you so much. It’s exciting to know that what you’re doing is connecting with people on many different levels. I consider it an honor to just be nominated for this award, much less to actually win it; it’s amazing where God can take someone. I remember reading CCM when I was just a teenage baby Christian, and to now be able to be in it is an honor and a privilege.
PRODUCT I WOULD DO A COMMERCIAL FOR…Red Bull or Starbucks—if for nothing more than [than to] get my costs down for the amount I spend on both products. My financial manager recently put me on Starbucks restriction. I had to go and buy debit cards to keep my spending habits under control. Of course then I lost the card…whoops.
GOOFIEST THING I BELIEVED AS A CHILD…That I could catch Santa Claus, and he would give me extra presents. When I was five, my parents ran on the roof and made noises like “ho, ho, ho” and played reindeer sounds. So for the next five years, I tried to stay up and catch Santa in the act every Christmas Eve.
WHAT I’D LIKE TO ACCOMPLISH IN 2008…An expansion of the stuff I’m already working on…52 radio, 52 television and 52 academy. I’d like to see myself growing not only artistically and spiritually but continuing to effect change for the Kingdom of God through being salt and light in this industry.
SHOUT-OUTS TO…My wife and newborn son, Jacob Richard (being a dad is pretty much the best thing I ever did next to getting married and getting saved).
