Modern rock favorite THOUSAND FOOT KRUTCH releases its first new studio album in over two years, OXYGEN:INHALE, today amidst wide acclaim.  Already hitting No. 1 on iTunes’ Rock chart and No. 6 on the overall Albums chart, the recording’s lead single “Born This Way” also speeds its way into the Top 35 at Active Rock and becomes a Christian Top 10 Rock hit.  NASCAR also cranks up the song’s volume on ESPN beginning tomorrow and through mid-December as the single continues to roar up the radio charts while picking up nearly a quarter-of-a-million views and 3,700+ likes on YouTube.

TFK also played the single acoustically yesterday during the band’s first-ever live event in SiriusXM Octane’s New York City studios. The band additionally played “Untraveled Road,” which hit No. 2 on iTunes’ Rock Song sales chart and racked up more than 140,000 YouTube views, and more new hits along with its fan favorites. TFK further took over programming for the national show, playing their personal favorite tracks from other rock artists alongside new music from OXYGEN:INHALE. The resulting “Thousand Foot Krutch Live” show will replay tonight at 9:00 pm and at various times throughout the week.  See http://www.siriusxm.com/octane for all the replay dates/times.

With marketing, sales and distribution through The Fuel Music into all territories worldwide except Europe, where it releases through Hassle Records, OXYGEN:INHALE is being promoted today on Revolver Magazine, Alternative Press, NewReleaseTuesday.com and more. The 5-star acclaimed album is also receiving major focus from top retailers. Premiered a week early for its fans through an exclusive ‘First Play’ on iTunes Radio, this week the album heats up at big box retailer Best Buy, which is featuring TFK in its circular ad that is anticipated to reach 40-million people.

Music fans are also chiming in with their support, giving TFK more than 200, 5-star average reviews already on iTunes, while media critics further laud OXYGEN:INHALE. Full Metal Rock says it’s “another EPIC album” as Examiner.com’s 5-star review declares, “you need this in your music collection…every song on it is a great.” Midwest Music Scene adds that it is “a worthy addition to TFK’s already impressive discography” while Ignite Music Magazine calls the production “stellar” and Zombie Tapdance calls attention to McNevan’s voice, saying, “The vocal roller coaster is just phenomenal…go pick up this CD or digital download.”

NewReleaseTuesday.com continues, saying, “There are no filler tracks here, with every track…contributing a uniquely powerful musical moment” proving that TFK’s “risk-taking, trail-blazing habits have paid off, with interest.” Hallels.com agrees that “once ignited, these songs will torch up; they will become like wild uncontrollable bushfires burning with Godly passions within our lives.” JesusFreakHideout.com adds, “TFK fans should all be flocking to grab this release,” with Indie Vision Music calling the band “a revolutionizing force in music.”
