“I had my beliefs and no judge on a TV show would ever change those,” she laughed. “What was meant for to mock me was actually a blessing in disguise. And I wouldn’t have had this opportunity to star in a film like this without that.”

The film was written and directed by Tom Simes, a high school sex education turned drama teacher in Canada. He originally wrote the screenplay as a stage production for his school’s theater department, but realized it’s potential for on screen instead. Simes has a handful of films produced by his self owned production company Five Stones Films, but Because Of Gracia is the first to be released nationwide in the US.

The film has already received press attention with a poll they commissioned asking 1,000 people if they felt Hollywood films generally had a pro-life or pro-choice leaning. For more information, read the original article HERE.
