CCM: How does your diversity of talents (your strengths and weaknesses) work together to create that uniquely distinct For All Seasons sound & vibe?
FAS: We had a lot of discussions about our differences in the band while recording this new project. Our different influences could either be a recipe for disaster, or the opportunity for a really beautiful thing. That’s why we try to acknowledge and value the differences in each other. The reality is that this band and our sound could never be accomplished by just one of us. It only happens because of the part we each play. And we see that displayed beautifully in the sound and songs of the new EP.

CCM: What’s the story that you think God will write out of Clarity?
FAS: This EP has a lot to do with trust. Trusting in Gods’ goodness, in His providence, His direction, His plans, His promises. It’s about asking Him to help us navigate through life, through the unknown, through pain and questions. As newcomers to the world of contemporary christian music, the whole Nashville scene and industry is so new to us: signing to a record label, sending songs to the radio, walking into the unknown, and inviting other peoples’ opinions and perceptions into our music. Our prayer is that God would use this snapshot of our lives and FAS’ journey as a way to bring hope to those who are also walking through the unknown and unfamiliar, as these songs point to who Jesus is in every season.
