V.Rose – ‘Young Dangerous Heart ‘ album review

V.Rose, CCM Magazine - imageNow 27-years-old, pop/hip-hop/dance artist V.Rose talks of making the transition from her teens and early twenties to young adulthood on this high-octane album stacked with potential hits. The singer/songwriter’s audience may skew towards the younger side, if only for the electronic explosions and trendy production, but standouts such as rhythmic “If I Don’t Have Love,” the slick electro groove “Not Afraid Of The Midnight” and the stripped down finger snapper “Young Dangerous Heart” can certainly serve as a faith-centered example to any age. Special guest collaborators Trip Lee, FLAME, Derek Minor and Angie Rose add all the more star power and stylistic variety to this lively, coming of age collection that always keeps Christ at the center, even though it sounds right in step with any of today’s top pop stars.
