The Mantis and the Moon (Independent)
by Son of Laughter

FOR FANS OF: Andrew Peterson, Fionn Regan, Keegan Dewitt
Rating: 5 Stars

Masterfully helped to life by producer Ben Shive (Andrew Peterson, Sara Groves) and prestigiously released by thoughtful folks at The Rabbit Room, Mantis defines the singer-songwriter genre to a tee. With intriguing acoustic instrumentation, dreamy storybook lyrics and poignant takeaways (“I don’t want to be someone who doesn’t want to be who they are”), Mantis may be the most affective Nashville singer-songwriter EP in recent history.
