Misty Edwards: ‘Little Bird’ album review

Misty Edwards threw fans a curveball on her latest release, a shift away from corporate worship recordings for the sake of indulging a bit more creativity and individuality as an artist. The move is a smart one, since Edwards’ is clearly an artist with a broader palette than oft-repeated worship refrains. It’s an intimate, thoughtful mix with nice surprises scattered throughout, the strongest of which is the title track.
