Fantasize  (Valga)
by Kye Kye

FOR FANS OF: Polica, Wild Ones
Rating: 4 Stars

Kye Kye set high expectations with their dreamy synthpop on the band’s 2011 debut, Young Love. Now they’ve bested themselves with the stellar follow-up, Fantasize, a well-produced set (Chad Howat from Paper Route) that calls to mind Wild Ones or CHVRCHES. The winner here is the whimsical “Honest Affection,” but the band haunts on songs like “Dreams (2am).”
