Out Among The Stars   (Legacy)
by Johnny Cash

FOR FANS OF: Elvis Presley, Willie Nelson, George Jones
Rating: 4 Stars

It’s crazy to think this early ‘80s album by Johnny Cash was completely shelved because it didn’t meet the record company’s commercial expectations at the time. In hindsight, these newly unearthed sessions find The Man in Black confidently stomping through several earthly tunes of inspiration with his wife, June Carter Cash, longtime friend Waylon Jennings and even future country/ gospel star Marty Stuart on guitar and fiddle.
