Dan Bremnes: ‘Where The Light Is’ album review

After a successful debut that introduced audiences to a promising new male vocalist, Dan Bremnes has followed suit with an even stronger full-length filled with memorable tunes with Where The Light Is.

The title track leads the album and serves as its highlight, marked by Bremnes’ irresistible falsetto. Other highlights include “Heart On Fire,” reminiscent of Coldplay’s Viva La Vida, “In His Hands,” and the 2014 hit “Beautiful. Bremnes has channeled his drive to win bread by singing and performing through the tragic experience of losing his mother several years ago. Coming full-circle, now as a new father himself, this release and promising future is ever-so timely.
