AMP – ‘FUTUREGEN’ album review

AMP, CCM Magazine - imageThe trio comprised of CL, J. Han and Sam Ock, better known as pop-rap-hip hop collective AMP, take their bursting beats and vertically-framed rhymes up yet another contagious notch throughout FUTUREGEN. The collection marks the troupe’s third and is centered around the idea of raising up the future generation with a rock solid faith, always accompanied by an eclectic mash-up of current and classic sounds. Highlights include the title track, “Far Greater” and “Keep Me,” all of which strike the delicate balance of being right on point with anything going on in the mainstream while never watering down members’ spiritual insights.
