What artists has Remedy Drive been writing with lately? We've got the scoop on the band's latest songwriting sessions…
After writing somewhere between 40-50 songs for its debut, Daylight is Coming (Word), Remedy Drive has recently "fallen in love with writing music all over again."
"It's been so much fun writing lately, just creating and discovering melodies," says David Zach. "In the past four years when we've been working so hard, I may have lost that a little. But that love has definitely come back around again."
Zach partly attributes "getting the magic back" to writing with a few veteran artists including Jars of Clay's Dan Haseltine and Thousand Foot Krutch's Trevor McNevan.

"It's interesting to see the different ways that people approach writing music and the artistic aspect of it all," says Zach. "It's easy to get stuck in the idea of ‘well, this is what I do for a living.' But then when you think about how much of a difference playing music is to the kid who just takes up guitar at age 14, well, you're reminded of how unreal and mysterious music really is again."
See Remedy Drive play at a venue near you beginning in March when they'll be joining MercyMe, David Crowder Band, Family Force 5, Fee, Francesca Battistelli and Sidewalk Prophets on The Rock & Worship Road Show. Visit rockandworshiproadshow.com for dates and cities.
