Tricia: I would have gone to nursing school, and I still might. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do, and I always wonder if I still will someday, but time hasn't really permitted nursing school yet. We'll see!
MyGodIsEnough asks: If you could say one sentence to the entire world, what would it be?Tricia: Love your neighbor as your brother. Forgive others as you want them to forgive you. (Oops, is that two? Well, I couldn’t decide on one! haha)
mapachito13 asks: I was very impressed with Regeneration. [It] had songs that, melodically, were the same as the originals but because of the arrangement (for lack of a better word) were like a brand-new song. So I was wondering if you write multiple versions of a song to determine what you like best for each album...Tricia: Hmmm, good question… Sometimes when we are writing an album, a song might sound 10 different ways before we find what seems to really work. You can change a song so much by just adding or subtracting a guitar part, or adding some drums, doing more programming or not. It’s sometimes a tough call, because it feels like if you mess it up the first time, then what could be an amazing song is a disappointment to us...but there are always remix albums for those!
drumr360 asks: Is Superchick still open for new band members?Tricia: We are pretty much set now. We feel like a family. We are all original members except our drummer, who’s been with us four years now. I think until Superchick retires, we are it.

radsqueen asks: What made you guys decide to start Superchick, and what inspired "Beauty From Pain"?Tricia: Oh man, two questions in one. Cheater. Well, we started our band with the intention to motivate and inspire people to find their purpose, or at least to accept that they have a purpose—that God made them for a reason, and that makes each one of us special…and every day of our lives, we can be used by God to make a difference in people’s lives around us. The way to start is so simple—love people, try to see the world through God’s eyes... Now, second question! We wrote “Beauty from Pain” about a breakup I went through a few years ago. It was my first broken heart. I was crushed and confused and angry and depressed, and I found God in that place of brokenness more than I ever had in my life yet. I wrote the song because I believe that people everywhere are broken and hurting in all different ways, but we all get it. We understand it when someone describes that place of desperation for God, needing Him to make it through every moment…to make sense of things and put us back together. When we run to God in those storms, it will change us and deepen our faith in ways the happy times in our lives never could.
