We’re counting down the days until Night of Joy 2008. This year’s event will take place at Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios, September 5-6. We’ve asked artists playing at this year’s event to answer some goofy questions for us to get us in the mood for the Mouse. Today, the members of
PureNRG give these questions a spin…
Caroline:1. If you could be a Disney character, who would you be and why?My favorite character is definitely Snow White. I have loved her since I was little. When I was at Disney World and was just 18 months old, I got really excited when I saw the beautiful princess. With wide eyes and my little index finger pointing at her, I said, "White!" I called her that for a long time. And every time I ate an apple, I would fall to the floor as if I'd been poisoned and lay there until someone kissed me to wake me up.
2. What is your favorite theme park at Walt Disney World?You can't beat the original! The Magic Kingdom is my favorite park at Disney.
3. What’s your favorite ride at Disney?My favorite ride at Disney World is Splash Mountain! Every time I go on that ride, I get so caught up in watching Brer Rabbit, I forget to wait for the big drop at the end. So even though I know it is coming, it surprises me every time.
4. What’s your favorite Disney movie?It is hard to pick out of all the Disney movies. My favorite Disney classic is
Sleeping Beauty, but my current favorite is
College Road Trip.
5. Since this is your first time playing at Night of Joy, what are you most looking forward to?Just to be at the happiest place on earth and doing what I love to do. I can't wait! It is going to be an amazing night!
6. Do you have a favorite Disney memory from your childhood?My favorite Disney memory is celebrating my third birthday at Cinderella’s Castle! Snow White even delivered a birthday cake to my hotel room at the Contemporary. My mom made me a Snow White dress, and I got a Minnie Mouse dress from the Tinkerbell Store right behind the castle. I dressed like Minnie Mouse or Snow White every day for the next year!
