UNDEROATH’S STUDIO RETURN

Though Underoath just released the CD/DVD concert collection Survive, Kaleidoscope (Tooth & Nail/Solid State) in May, the hardcore heroes just stepped out of the studio for this week’s Lost In the Sound of Separation on the same label. Coming two years off the band's last proper album, it’s said to have an even more aggressive and darker instrumental tone, though not at the expense of hopeful thematic resolution. Outside of a standard edition, die-hards can swoop up a special edition with a bonus behind-the-scenes DVD or a deluxe edition, which includes all of the above, plus a 56-page booklet.

DOUBLE DOSE OF LIVE FROM DOWN UNDER

After touring for two years in support of its latest studio CD, GO (InPop), newsboys are offering a souvenir to the shows in a CD/DVD combo pack format. Live: Houston We Are Go (InPop) is loaded with cuts from the original album, along with a handful of golden oldies from the group’s jovial dance/pop annals. Also from Down Under, Hillsong United releases the DVD companion to the previously released audio title. The I Heart Revolution: We’re All In This Together (Integrity) features 14 moving moments of modern worship. Beyond merely a performance, the youth branch of Hillsong’s worldwide ministry is also calling this generation to a revival, as traced throughout iheartrevolution.com.
