It all kicks off this weekend (August 30 to be exact) as SHOUTFEST South invades Wild Adventures in Valdosta, Ga., featuring Third Day, Starfield, Grits and Jason Morant, along with several up-and-coming indie acts. Come September 13, SHOUTFEST North sets up shop at Mount Vernon Nazarene University in Mount Vernon, Ohio, led by Relient K, Thousand Foot Krutch, Family Force 5, Sixpence None the Richer and After Edmund. The festivities wrap up on October 18 with SHOUTFEST New Orleans at Zephyr Stadium in Metarie, La., headlined by newsboys, alongside Sixpence, Trin-i-tee 5:7, DecembeRadio and This Beautiful Republic.
PURENRG TEAMS WITH PRECIOUS GIRLS CLUBJust in time for going back to school, young readers can gear up for the Precious Girls Club book series (from the makers of Precious Moments), tracing the interactive adventures of Katie Bennett. Outside of merely literary form, the entity will have an extensive online and even musical presence, driven by a theme song penned by Big Daddy Weave’s Mike Weaver and performed by pureNRG (available on the special edition of their CD
