(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) – Inpop Records’ Everyday Sunday kicks off 2008 by celebrating its strong showing at Christian radio in 2007, including the band’s hit single “Wake Up! Wake Up!,” which was Radio & Records No. 1 Rock song of the year.

The Columbus, Ohio-based band was also Radio & Records’ No. 6 Christian Rock artist and No. 10 Christian CHR artist of 2007. Along with “Wake Up! Wake Up!” its single “Find Me Tonight” landed at No. 10 among R&R’s Top Christian CHR songs. The group was additionally featured on the Christian Radio Weekly Year End Top Artist charts, being named No. 6 Top Rock Artist and No. 8 Top CHR Artist. The single “Let’s Go Back” hit No. 6 on CRW’s Year End Rock chart after spending four weeks at No. 1. “Find Me Tonight” came in at No. 12 on CRW’s Year End CHR/Pop chart.

“Radio has been very supportive of Inpop and Everyday Sunday,” says Inpop Records President Dale Bray. “We strive to find artists and songs that connect with listeners, and we appreciate all those who help us get these songs heard.”

Chris Hauser of Hauser Promotions comments, “It was a pleasure being connected to such a brilliant record and producer Ian Eskelin, and to be a part of the band’s biggest radio success thus far!”

Everyday Sunday’s current music video for “Wake Up! Wake Up!” also recently reached No. 1 on TVU’s “Most Wanted.”

In other Inpop Records’ year-end success, newsboys landed at No. 5 on R&R’s Top Christian CHR Artist chart and the band’s Christian CHR single “Something Beautiful” was also No. 5 on R&R’s Year End Christian CHR chart. The band reached Top 10 in both CRW’s Top AC and Top CHR Artist year-end charts, as well as had the No. 8 CRW Year End CHR song with “Something Beautiful.”

Singer/songwriter Mat Kearney posted strong numbers at retail in 2007. His album Nothing Left to Lose was No. 1 on the Top-Selling Christian/Gospel Digital Albums chart and reached Top 10 on the Top-Selling Christian/Gospel at Mainstream Retail.

Overall, Inpop Records boasted a combined 17 radio singles in the Top 100 year-end charts across formats, putting the label in the Top 10, according to CRW. Inpop had six Christian AC radio singles, eight CHR singles, two Rock singles and one Inspo single, in each of CRW’s Year End Top 100 charts.

Founded in 1999 by newsboys frontman Peter Furler, artist manager Wes Campbell and Inpop President Dale Bray, Inpop Records is home to a variety of artists including newsboys, Superchick, Shane & Shane and Mat Kearney, among others. For more information, visit www.inpop.com.
