Desperation Band
Modern Worship

BIOGRAPHY

The Desperation Band has become known for high-energy, passionate worship that conveys the hunger of their generation to experience the presence of God. All three Worship Leaders/Songwriters are Associate Worship Pastors at New Life Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where they work alongside Worship Pastor Ross Parsley. It's no surprise then that Desperation's songs such as "I Am Fee", "Amazed", "Rescue," and "Everyone (Praises)" have quickly become worship favorites in churches across the globe.

'My Savior Lives' is the a project from New Life Church. Released earlier in 2007, it features Ross Parsley and the Desperation Band with 13 powerful songs that are already being sung in worshiping churches.

Desperation Band reflects the worship from New Life's Student Ministries. Every summer, New Life's Student Ministries unite to hold the Desperation Student Conference, a nationwide conference designed to help young people be changed by the presence of God and create change where they are by plugging into their local churches and staying faithful.

The Desperation Band has been featured on the main stage at Creation East, and has also led worship in the Worship Tent at both Creation East and KingdomBound. They have also been featured on Teen Mania's Acquire the Fire stadium tour. Their albums, recorded live at New Life Church, appear on Integrity's Vertical Music label.

The highly anticipated fourth project from the Desperation Band, 'Everyone Overcome' was also released in 2007. This passionate group of award-winning songwriters and worship leaders continue to give God glory with new passionate modern worship songs.

Songs like "Counting on God" and "Overcome" have been significant songs for the New Life congregation and student ministries, proclaiming trust in God and the victory of overcoming. The energy the Desperation Band is known for is highlighted in the massive tracks "Light of Salvation" and "Taking Over Now". From start to finish this album carries an anointing that can only come from a season of brokenness and true desperation.

Desperation Band’s desire is to create an atmosphere that will lead a desperate generation of youth and young adults into the presence of God as they worship Him.
