Christian musiC’s Biggest artists lit up the sky at Disney’s night of Joy According to David Carr of Third Day, this year’s Night of Joy at Disney World in Orlando, FL “was the best one yet.” We don’t argue! CCM was lucky enough to hit up Night of Joy 2010 and, hands down, it was a show not soon forgotten! True, it was a little warm… muggy… rainy… but it’s doubtful that anyone even noticed. With world class style, Disney hosted today’s top Christian artists including Tenth Avenue North, Third Day, Group 1 Crew, MercyMe, Casting Crowns, David Crowder Band and more. The magical world lived up to its name. The music was rocking and the people were more than just a little receptive. Compassion International made a strong showing with moving testimonies from Mike Donehey of Tenth Avenue North and Bart Millard of Mercy Me. So many children received sponsorships from the generous and attentive crowd. You might just say that between the compassion that was rife through the air, the love of Jesus pulsing through the speakers and the energy of a crowd celebrating the freedom of belonging to Christ, it really was a small, very happy world after all.
