ALBUM TITLE: TBA
(“We haven’t named it quite yet...
We’re like the parents who name their
baby a week after it’s born.”)
LABEL: INO Records
RELEASE DATE: Late Spring/early
The Red Room, Franklin, Tennessee.
(aka “our producer’s basement”)
PRODUCERS: Dan Muckala
(Brandon Heath, MercyMe)
NUMBER OF SONGS: 10+
MUSICAL DIRECTION: This album feels
like a big step forward for us. It’s fresh and fun. –Josh Havens, lead vocals/guitar/keys
LYRICAL THEMES: There is a defi nite theme of rebirth. Over the course of writing this album, we’ve been fascinated with
the idea of starting over. I’ve recently seen a lot of people crash and burn, only to get back up and try again. I know a
lot of people who have experienced pain and suffering in the past couple years. One of the beautiful things about life
is that we can leave the past behind us and start fresh. Today is always a new day, and we can make the rest of our life
what God intended it to be. –J.H.
PRODUCER PROPS: The brilliant Dan Muckala [is producing this album]! He produced our last album and half of our
fi rst. He’s become one of our best friends, and I dare everyone to check out his old band, Muckala. –J.H.
COMPARISON TO PREVIOUS WORK: It’s a more up-tempo record for sure. We never want to rehash our older records.
We hope to always grow and mature and hope our fans join us on that journey. If our fi rst two records had a better-
looking little brother with lots of personality, it would be this record. –J.H.
FOR THE LOVE OF JAVA: We supported a village worth of coffee farmers through the making of this record! –J.H.
