Christian music
and culture this
month.
1. ACOUSTIC TOURS
Sometimes, everything sounds
better stripped down. And for
fans of Jeremy and Adie Camp
and BarlowGirl, acoustic sets
have been all the rage as of
late. The Camps are currently
out on the road for an acoustic
tour, while BarlowGirl has been
doing some limited acoustic
shows, with a recent intimate
performance at an Apple Store
in Chicago.
2. THE RETURN OF JENNIFER KNAPP
The music community is abuzz with
the return of one of its most beloved
songwriters, Jennifer Knapp, who
recently announced a release date
for a brand-new album. Letting Go
(Graylin/RED/Thirty Tigers) is slated
to release May 11, much to the relief
of longtime fans who have patiently
waited for new music from Knapp
during her seven-year hiatus. The
songstress is currently on the road
with Derek Webb.
