With Father’s Day just around the corner, there’s really
no better time to focus on the strengthening of our
fathers. Christ in the Rockies does just that. This unique
experience for fathers and sons creates an environment
for attendees—young and not as young—to grow, be
challenged and learn what God’s vision for fatherhood,
parenting and being a man is all about.
This summer, the experience kicks off June 13 in the
beautiful mountains of Estes, CO. Hiking, rock climbing and
building are just a few of the items on a schedule that’s
packed with ample teaching time and adventure time.
The age of attendees starts at 14 and goes up from
there, creating a cool blend of multi-generational father-
son pairings. Here’s what participants are saying about
their time in the Rockies…
“I want to thank you for an outstanding adventure in life
and the pursuit of biblical manhood. This experience was
outstanding. Everything was carefully planned and thought
through to provide the best trip possible. The staff was
amazing. They modeled the values they taught. The times with
our sons allowed us to take strategic steps in our relationships
with them and in their individual pursuit of becoming God’s
man. I would highly recommend it!” – Jeff B.
“CITR exceeded my expectations! Something special
happened this week between my son Chris and me... and
among a group of men and young men who had never
met before. The Holy Spirit was present and hearts were
knit together. I thank God that you caught the vision
to restore the hearts of sons to their fathers and the
hearts of fathers to their sons. I left Christ in the Rockies
with a sense that this was accomplished… and more!”
– Herb M.
