FOR FANS OF: Derek Webb, Caedmon’s Call,

With a heart for youth ministry and a sunny
singer/songwriter disposition, Ryan long is
poised to follow in the footsteps of his already
famous friends (and album collaborators) like
andrew osenga, Ben shive and scott cash.
Wrapped around earthy production from
Young life artist Mark Wagner, the rootsy pop
instrumentation is cozy (albeit a bit similar),
while the vocals are comforting over lyrics of
living out one’s faith with commitment and
enthusiasm.

igniting the interests
of indie music elitists
and unassuming
pop fans alike,
independent gem
emily deloach issues
her latest gold mine
of prose bedded by the pop/rock savvy
of chiming wurlis, swirling synths and
enigmatic guitars. And while the title track’s
unguarded verses (“And what I don’t know is
how I remember/The way the car went up in
flames/And every single nurse’s name/But still
I can’t recall your face”) recall the boy she
lost, The Lucky Ones reveals the artist we’ve
gained. expanded edition includes acoustic
recordings of the title track and skeeter
davis’ “the end of the World.”

Justin Zigenis
Maze (Independent Release)
FOR FANS OF: Jonny Lang, New World Son
QQQQ
Debut artist Justin
Zigenis proves he is
able to hold his own
with his first effort,
“Maze.” With his fusion
of blues, soul and
acoustic, he forays
through eloquent
and moving songs like “Contagious,” where
Zigenis showcases his unique voice. The sweet
and simple, “You’re Not Alone” also melds his
acoustic stylings with soulful vocals. Through
tinges of rock and a soaring voice, Zigenis will
surely be a newcomer with staying power.
