Vineyard Worship Canada, the non-profit worship ministry of the Canadian Vineyard church movement, has partnered with Syntax Creative and plans to release three retail projects between now and October. The Lead On EP, available for pre-order now, will be the first and released on June 23, while solo projects will follow from Andy Park and David Ruis, Breath of Heaven and LIVE at Catch the Fire Toronto.

“Vineyard Worship was established in response to the original worship songs that were being born out of the fledgling Vineyard movement. We needed a home for the things God was birthing in our midst. This is still the case today,” Marc Pusch, Managing Director of Vineyard Canada, said. “The Vineyard still has a role to play in blessing the whole Church in worship by expressing our unique, God-given voice — a unique expression of heart and values that has been called ‘Vineyard Worship.’”

“One of the many reasons why the Vineyard Movement has sprouted so profoundly is its worship music,” Timothy Trudeau, CEO of Syntax Creative, said. “We’re excited to help share that music with those inside and outside of the movement.”

The Canadian Vineyard movement is part of the worldwide Vineyard movement with over 1,500 churches globally. Digital distribution is the most effective way for Vineyard Worship Canada to share its worship expression with the Church.

“We see the digital marketplace as the primary space to focus our attention for maximum impact and broadest reach,” Pusch said. “And, simply put, we like the folks at Syntax.”

“The Syntax team and I have the pleasure to know Marc personally,” Trudeau said. “To say the least, we are all excited about this new chapter for both Syntax and Vineyard Worship Canada.”

Vineyard Worship Canada exists as an organic extension of the Vineyard church movement in Canada. We are, in a phrase, “from the church, for the church.” We are not a music company first and foremost; we are a non-profit worship ministry. Our efforts will be centered on the cultivation and the empowerment of the core value of worship in the Vineyard — to help the local church experience God.
