Take his latest E.P., for example - Anywhere But Home (2011). Micah’s unassuming, folk-infused pop sound is a refreshing alternative, especially in a culture that all-too-often lacks space and clarity. He gives voice to some of the questions and struggles that accompany a walk with Jesus. This collection of songs (produced by JUNO award-winning singer/songwriter Matt Brouwer) intertwines lyric and melody to portray the ups and downs of faith in a reflective and transparent way.
