Darlene Zschech: ‘In Jesus’ Name: A Legacy of Worship and Faith’ album review

Legacy is the best, and perhaps the only, word to describe the years of passion and dedication that Darlene Zschech has contributed to the world of Christian music. In Jesus Name: A Legacy of Worship and Faith is an aptly named celebration of her contributions, and also her most recent struggle with cancer. The compilation record features some of her greatest, powerful hits, like “The Potter’s Hand,” and “Shout to the Lord.” Though many covers of these anthems have been done, her voice holds a unique boldness and tone that simply can’t be matched. The package flows nicely from top to bottom and while it only incorporates only a few new songs, this is a must-have for your worship collection.
