Big Daddy Weave: ‘Beautiful Offerings’ album review

Christian radio mainstay Big Daddy Weave finally releases the highly anticipated follow-up to 2012’s Love Come To Life. Beautiful Offerings features eleven originals that continue the band’s tradition of offering rich melodic hooks perfectly paired with thought-provoking and worshipful lyrics.

The veteran band incorporates elements of country, classic rock, and even electronic, demonstrating their strong commitment to musical growth and their willingness to extend their boundaries. And those who particularly appreciate high production value will find themselves especially pleased. Front man Mike Weaver, arguably one of the more recognizable voices in contemporary Christian music, displays yet again his special ability to convey deep emotion. This is especially evident on “Come Sit Down,” in which Weaver ranges from tender reverence to majestic exaltation. With Beautiful Offerings, Big Daddy Weave once again powerfully presents in their own unique way the live-giving messages of hope and surrender.
